the chip is a waste of time without exhaust and air intake and you need gauges to watch the temps also .so start with exhaust and intake,,,,,

i would disagree with needing exhaust and air intake. i would do gauges 1st though, then a chip. exhaust and air intake isn't a must though. did it to mine and i check my gauges ALL the time as i tow heavy, and didnt notice much egt drop like some say and no fual milage gain or minus.

everything goes hand in hand, but definitly do gauges first, especially if you're going to be towing.

While intake and exhaust are nice, they are not nessasary. A muffler delete is about all you HAVE to have on the stock exhaust to flow good. Intake is not bad at all for stock injectors, sure the better ones will help, but there not needed first.

Gauges first however.

Nope... You can't stack on a Powerstroke. That's just expensive anyhow ...

Welcome to Diesel Bombers, Read up in the stickies and throughout some of the tech articles... Plenty of info here to fill up your mind with the in's and out's of these trucks!

You can not stack on a 7.3 powerstroke. If you install a programer (which rewrites the factory PCM) then install a chip (which overides the factory PCM programing) you will be running on the chip.

You can stack an ICP mod like a 10k with a chip, but most times all that will get you is more smoke, higher EGT's and a SES light every time you get on it.

It is not possible. I am saying why would you buy two chips when you only need one? Wasting money..
