Im new with this programming and putting after market things on my truck. Im wanting to get a programer but i'm not for sure exactly what kind to get. If you could help me out with what other little things i could do to get started would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

Get a good 6pos Chip. There are lots of good tuners out there that can custom burn you a chip. We offer standard TS Chips or custom tunes from Tony Wildman.

Is the chip called tony? Or is it something else

The chip is made by TS diesel performance. Then someone else puts there custom programming on it. Use the search feature there are many threads about this topic.

 

like said above TS chips are the best. basically someone will buy a chip whip the tunes off it and put more customized tunes on it.

when it comes to tuning stay away from "play" tunes like lope idle...i have one on mine and i havent used it in atleast 2 months
