hell yeah, I think the 12v is THE king of cummins engines in pickups, longest lasting as simple as it gets. 7.3L powerstroke and the 12v cummins were the best by far in my opinion.

i have a buddie that has a 01 250 4x4 and he is a oil field hotshot and he drives the **** out of this truck and he just rolled it over 900000

my 02 has 209k runs like it has 29. all stock only thing i have touched it a starter and glow plug realy.. having said that im sure i just jinxed myself.

900000 wtf thats alot of driving!!!! i just use my for mudding, towing a boat, school,and work! but diesel price is becoming a bitch!

We have several buses at work with 7.3's in them that have over 260k and 12k+ hours . Never been touched except for maintenance stuff.

I have done my own mpg rating get about 17-19! im paying 3.89 a gal!
