Either way I'm not dissing the TDI's.. they are extravagant motors in every single way. But an f250 Heavy Duty (or Super Duty) is MADE for pulling heavy loads for long periods of time.

for the tdi stuff. 225 or 307 hp. that's still more than the OBS. and the power to weight ratio. 3,000 pound car to 8,000 truck. it makes a difference.

Power to weight doesn't mean a whole lot.. the f250 is made to pull heavy loads for long distances. Thats like saying that since a Viper has 500+hp it would be a PRO at hauling and 'have more power' than an F250.

No, probably not.. because thats not what they are designed to do. By the looks of it, you are agreeing with what I'm saying.

I am agreeing with you except that the OBS are not power houses. Yes they do have power and will pull anything, but you just won't go very fast. I personally think that stock they are ungodly slow. Hell my 99 waxed my buddies 95 with the edge evo, and I was running stock at the time.
