well i've had better luck getting good mileage out of the OBS. but the OBS that i've had didn't tow very well. especially the auto. parts are the same prices. i guess it depends on which you like better.

OBS are nice trucks, there very solid so long as you stay away from the TTB front end on the F-250's... and even that is not that bad, I had one with over 270k on the factory front end more or less.

Lower power with the AA injectors... I'd rock a CCLB for sure.

obs are lighter and easier to get better mileage out of.. even the auto's. Plus they are absolute tanks.

The only downside to the crew/short combo could be the frame if it got messed up. Someone feel free to correct me but I think the clubcab/long bed frames might work under the crew/short but I'm guessing there is a diffrence under the cab. The obs crew/shorts were only made in'96/'97 IIRC so there won't be many on the road and you can really make yours stand apart. I think there are only 3 or 4 of us over on PSA with the crew/short rigs.

it might work but it would take a little imaginearing. the section of the frame under the cab where it drops is a little shorter on the ex cabs compared to the crew cabs.
