Replaced Brakes, Got Issues, Help Please
#11
OK thanks, I'll check them also. Called autozone and they have new rebuilt calipers for $30 with core charge. I think I'll go that route, the truck being 9 years old and 221K miles..she deserves it. I'll let you know how it comes out tomorrow.

Well I replaced the calipers and got the whole system bled. ABS & brake light's are off. Still got the 4WD light on, not sure about it, I checked vaccum lines and all seemed good. took it to autozone, they said their reader only reads engine codes, had them do it anyway and no codes found...that's goodness, but not sure about the 4WD light...hate to take it into the shop for a light.

A little chunk of black electrical tape will fix that light right up for ya.

4WD light is still on but 4wd is not engaged. Brakes are working fine. I'm in the process of moving to Casper Wyo right now. Just pulled the Uhaul into town and boy my arms are tired. bA-DUM-BUMP!! heading back to Kansas Thursday to get my truck and trailer. Might take it into the shop and have the light checked out and see what's a miss. Thanks all.
