My ABS light is on and i have very weak brakes.. I can still stop but i have to press hard. Sometimes the light will turn off and when it does my power steering will lock up a bit and a whining noise will be heard and i loss mostly all the brakes... That will usually happen when i turn to the left... Is it just a possibility that my power steering pump is going out? Because it doesn't work very well already unless i hit give it more RPM.. That is being said from like a dead stop an i have to turn..

Aslo.. I recently made a u-turn, Hit the curb lightly whit wheels straight, in hopes not to bend the tire rods or mess up anything (i have big tires) and i completely lost all my "power brakes" and completely lost my power steering..

Overall... Does this relate to just my power steering pump from the begging and it finally went out? I'm only saying that due to you know the brakes and steering are connected.....

Sounds like a weak pump to me but there is a possibility that there may be two problems.
Here is a schematic of the ABS I am not sure if a malfunction in the ABS system could cause the PS to be sluggish. The brakes are a hydro boost system and one may effect the other ie electric pump took a crap.
