Default 95 dmax is it worth it?

its a 95 4x4 6.5 with212k miles on it but it needs a transfer case. how much would one of those cost? not sure if any thing else is wrong with it sure there is.

A remand t-case is somewhere between 700-1000. Might get lucky and find one at a salvage yard for a couple hundred bucks

engine run good? put a junk yard case in it and resale for a small profet

nm the transfer case is not bad it was the cummins that he was lookin at. My friends wants to go look at it i wouldnt buy it

Just like an unmodded any other engine, 6.5s do have power once you make some mods, mine is plenty capable of pullling anything I wish up to including 18K# of my backhoe & g/n trailer.

That is getting a little long in tooth if abused at all, how much $$$ we talking

without going into the engine with just bolt on mods/reprogramming you are good for about 300 Hp at crank, not huge # but respecatable power, a lot depends what your buddy is planning to do with the vehicle as to how much additional $$$ to put into it

what is the purpose of buying the truck? It may make a great work truck? But prob not my choice for a dyno queen!
