Default 2007 GMC Sierra Dmax

Hey All - I was within hours of purchasing a 2007 GMC Dmax Crew Cab 2500 and decided to run a carfax report as a "just in case". Come to find the Dmax I was looking at with 166K miles on it, has had the odometer rolled back in the year 2010 from 155K to 108K, therefore based on my calculations the truck now has 211K miles on it. My question to you all is whether I should be leery of this truck and it makes me think the owner is possibly hiding other issues as well. The truck is super clean inside and out. It's seriously has been taken care of. I just don't want to be suckered into buying something and then find out something else is falsified down the road. I prefer working on my own stuff and the miles don't scare me. Anyone else ever heard of this crap happening???

Additionally, what would be a reasonable price to pay for a truck with a rolled back odometer be worth? It would be hard to sell the truck in the future knowing this info.

Thanks for the advice.

Look for a different truck there tons out there not worth it there's something he's hiding n if he isn't he's trying to get more money out of it by using a low mileage speedometer
