Yeah i wouldnt spend the money on the HR VP. Im happy with my HO its taking me over 550 with a single turbo so im happy

 

Hello i had a VP44 pump installed on my 99 dodge its all stock far as the motor it has a holley blue for a lift pump .My point is after this new injection pump was installed when i first start it and put it in drive it will lope for couple sec's and clear out it dont do it all the time and it is a auto anyone have any idea why it does this ? It never did it with the old pump before it went out...

 

possibly a sheared key way if you are getting white smoke that is likely, it would modify your timing and you might get a p0216 code. Sometimes low stall converters can have drivability at very low RPM and cause stalling or seem like it wants to stall. I have also seen issues with a bad TPS cause similar issues (I have nice ones in stock for less than 1/2 what the dealer charges). Without codes its tough to pin down.
