I am retired and have only driven this truck three thousand miles in the last seven years.
Pretty much anything in your front end will cause the tires to wear unevenly ha ha Replace it all and get an alignment Then you will be good for sure

I quoted " Steering Box Brace" but ment "Steering Box Stabilizer" My mistake. I will install the Stabilizer and Sway Bar Bushings this week. You have to unbolt the bushings to install the Steering Stabilizer so I figured to change the bushings aswell. I have not replaced anything else on the suspension system of this vehicle. 198k mi.

I hav'nt checked anything yet, when the mechanic installs the Steering Stabilizer he will chech out everything else. I suspect I will be replacing the Ball joints, tie rod ends, Track bar, abd possibly hubs and rotors, breaks. I want to do it properly. The life I save may be yours. Mileage is 198K

Default Steering Box Stabilizer

Just got back from the mechanic who checked out the front suspension on my Dodge. He could not find anything that was loose or needed replacing, made my wallet real happy. As I drove there I noticed the drifting of my dodge from left to right. After installing the steering stabilizer the truck drove perfect, no drifting, why I can't tell you. The 4x4 hubs were both tight with no visual problems noticed. He did say that my shocks were totally worn out and I had a front tire that was out of round. I will order new shocks today, then New tires and an alignment and adjust the valves and I should be good to go.
