Default Steering Box Brace ?

I just bought a new steering box stabilizer for my 98 Dodge 4x4 Cummins and have a question.

Are these DB steering box stabilizers for lifted trucks only or will they work and improve steering stability on OEM non altered [stock] trucks aswell ?

My 98' is not lifted.

X2. Works great on mine. Huge improvement. Night and day difference. Check all your joints though. Track bar, tie rod, and ball joints. How many miles are on the truck? What parts have you replaced on the front end?

Default steering box brace

My dodge has just started to drive different and the right front tire is wearing different, I would not be surprized if everything needs to be replaced. I figure if I do these repairs and do not have an accident that this Dodge Cummins will last as long as I will be driving. I am retired and have only driven this truck three thousand miles in the last seven years.

It helps with the sector shaftside to side wear in the gear box. All other componets need to be tight as well. If there is excessive clearence between the worm gear& sector gear it will not help

If your front tire(s) is wearing different then it could be a few different things. Id check ball joints, track bar, or alignment first. Just my 2 cents
