The Aimpoint micro batter is good for 5 years left on...you don't need to turn it off....ever...

EoTech has a problem with recoil, it jars the battery box breaking contact & causing the sight to fail, I had mine fail a few times (days shooting 500 to 1K rounds at a time) before selling it. That's one of the reasons thy they have the new and improved XPS optic, to try and eliminate this flaw.

Trijicon are nice, but they are magnified...they are not a true red dot with zero magnification and are not a true CQB sight...

 

now thats cool how much is that micro and what kind of bat does it use , even tritium only has a 15 to 20 year life so 5 years is not bad
