So i would probably like want a turbo gauge? engine temp? Id probably put them on the pillar

not engine temp... exhaust gas temp, the turbo gauge= boost, and maybe a trans temp if you haul. but just the 1st two will work fine

Well, I went and looked at a 5 speed 01 Cummins turbo 24 valve diesel... Looks like a nice truck with only 94k miles on it so its got a good 200k left and in good condition... goin to talk to the guys there tomorrow

If you are buying a second gen 24V its very important to have the truck scanned for codes, and check the fuel pressure. Many people unload these trucks with the injector pump on its last legs.

Well, i test drove it and the sincro-meshes were out in the tranny... thus it would need a rebuilt... So I am still looking for a diesel in Nor Cal if anyone wants to post a link to a website with a good one or something? thanx
