noob here
Hey guys I'm almost 17 and am saving up for a diesel pickup. I am undecided on a year and make as long as it is not a chevy, but I don't mind GMC. This would be my first vehicle. I hope you guys can help me with the research process like what engines have what problems and how much to fix it, etc... I would mainly use it for work and street performance. Maybe even a sled pull in the future.

all of the big 3 have there quarks, the newer fords with there head bolts, the dodges with there junk auto trannys, and the chevy's with the weak tie rod ends and the injectors on the earlier model...the cummins seem to becoming the small block 350 of the diesel world...which is why if i had the money i would buy a new truck and it would be a 7.3 just to be different and become more knowledgable about it...
