the standard set of the ARP studs will work fine for your application. The vendors here carry them for alot less than 800

it took about 12 hours, i was doing some other things while i was in there. did billet injector hold downs and a couple other little things. i just got the standard ARP's also 800 is WAY too much. good luck!!

oh, this was on my 01

should i drain the coolant from my block before i do it. or do you think it will be ok?

you have to drain some. to get stuff out of way to remove V/C's. You'll need a real short 5mm allen socket to get rear allens off them too.

if i had to do just the studs again, i would probably drain as much as you can through the valve on the radiator.

and x2 on the lower valve cover allen bolts, i used a ball end allen socket, you can also use a regular allen wrench if its not too tight
