Default Edge Juice makes truck die

Dad just put an Edge Juice on his '01 and when he is stopping and the trans downshifts to first or second gear the truck dies. This problem doesn't happen all the time. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

Is there anything else done to the truck? Change the fuel filter or air filter lately? Any codes?

Just K&N drop-in and 4" exhaust, no codes, new fuel filter.

It never did it before and didn't do it after I unhooked it.

i had the same problem with the juice w/additude on my dmax. but its a manual tranny. it would just shut the truck off going down the road about every month or two, and it would miss fire every once in a while. i had to send the juice back in to edge and they reformatted it, and it has not done it since. that was about a year or more ago.
