I have a 2002 F350 4x4, there is a popping noise in the front end. The noise seems to be coming from driver side under my feet and small amount of movement is felt. When the noise started it would happen every once and a while. Now it's more frequent, when i turn the steering wheel to the right seems to make the noise most often, but does it both directions only while moving. The popping occurs at speeds 45mph and under,driving straight or turning, smooth or bumpy highway, I have replaced, all the tie rods, connecting links on sway bar, bushings on sway bar, bushings on leaf springs, replaced track bar, ball joints are good { were replaced couple years ago] shocks are good. I have tried to make the noise happen in the shop, won't happen. Bounced the suspension, placed block in front and rear of tires and placed in forward & reverse, no noise or movement detected. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

I found the front leaf springs are arched towards the ground a little bit. I ordered new springs from rock auto. After changing the springs, the noise coming from the front end has stopped. Glad the noise is gone, it was driving me crazy.

 

Had the same problem on my 99, needed new leafs as well and ***** joints.
