Default 7.3 ticking
i test drove an 01 f-250 and while i was accelerating i heard somthing like a ticking any ideas on what it could be i was thinking maybe it was an exhaust manifold leak any ideas ????

that's probably what it is. look around the manifolds for soot.

how much would i be looking at to fix it if i would get it ?

20- 30 bucks. you might need to get a manifold gasket set. or it might be a broken bolt making a gap.

well if it's a broken bolt. kind of a PIA. the bolts like to seize up. or if you just need gaskets then pull the bolts and slide in the gasket

alrite i was just making sure that you dont like to have to pull the motor out of it or anything like that
