also with the multifunction switch what do i need to do with it like have it tested or replaced and yes it was the ICP.
well, those switches are hard to test, just simply because there's a lot of wires. your easiest bet is to just replace it, they're not that expensive. (or hell just go to a junkyard and nab one off a totalled truck or something ) they're easy to change

1. disconnect negative battery cables.
2. turn key to "run" position
3. locate small hole under the ignition lock cylinder in the steering column, insert a small punch (or small allen key) and give a little push. (this pushes the lock cylinder detent back into the lock cylinder)
4. pull outwards on lock cylinder (ignition switch).
5. remove plastic covers around steering column.
6. viola! full access to whatever holds it in.

it's 2- T20 or T25 torx screws. and 2 small plugs

If the wiper motor doesnt do it, I'm pretty confident it's something in that multifunction switch. Like i said earlier, they cause all kinds of wacky $hit

when that switch went out on my moms 97, the only thing it caused was no turn signals. but it still took me a while to figure out why i didn't have turn signals.

HEY guys! dan my man i replaced my mult function switch. No luck. SO anymore suggestions i mean shes been doing real well. pulls like a dream. but stil dies when i put wipers on DELAY key word is delay. she dosent die then i put them on full go. only when delay. so if that help hit me back!
