I'm seriously thinking about buying a 07 KR 6.0L Powerstroke. This would be my first diesel truck I've ever owned and though I have general knowledge of Diesel engines, there's is a lot to be questioned about the 6.0 Powerstroke. The truck itself is in pristine condition inside and out (from what I've seen in pictures online. I'm currently working offshore and plan to go get it Wednesday when I go in) and has 162k miles on it. So I'm concerned about that engine needless to say.

Ok so far below is a list of some of the things I was able to dig up thru the carfax other than routine oil/filters/coolant/fluids maintenance, which looks to have been kept up throughout the trucks life span.

-Injector driver module was replaced at 70k miles.
-EGR valve was replaced at 90k miles.
-Cooling fan clutch and Shift indicator was replaced at 100k miles.
-Engine Block heater was installed on it also.
Does anyone know what the things that were replaced are and do?

Also, I'm trying to find a way to look up its history to see if it's been bullet proofed, etc. Would anyone know how or know someone who would be able to find out this information? The guy who's selling it is a wholesale dealer and he bought it at auction so he doesn't have any aftermarket information on the truck.

That's actually the price we're at right now. Keep in mind that I'm still currently in the gulf at work so I've only seen pictures of it and watched a wall around video he took for me of him starting it up and hearing it run so I haven't been able to drive/inspect it person yet.
