7.3 mods?

I run a DP tuner, It's awesome, push on the fly. Unplug the red line running up to the Turbo and plug it. It's a vacum line, this will give you a couple more pounds of boost.
Run a good syn oil, Rotella, amsoil, ETC.
also get the plug for the intake air heater, that thing blocks half the intake.

So far pretty cheap mods.

If I get the plug for the intake heater is there anything I need to worry about in high altitude sub zero climates?

intake heater doesnt do alot. glow plugs do most all the work

in Florida you can get by deleting this but this kid is in the north don't get rid of it in the winter you will be sorry

I agree with the oil I am running amziol in mine with an edge tuner that has plenty of gauges built in the only thing i want is a real oil press gauge ford uses a 7psi trigger in other words the oil press gauge is an idiot light

if you are going to pull at you should get a egt gauge

The intake heater is very minimal in starting. He will be just fine in deleting it. Hell the obs didn't even come with one
