Hey guys,

My dads 2002 7.3L was shutting down randomly while driving and throwing a code P1280 or something of the sort. Determined it was the ICP as removing the pigtail showed oil in it.

Replaced the ICP cleaned up the pigtail reinstalled.

Starts and runs great for awhile then shut down again like before.

sometimes it will throw that same code and sometimes not.

Any suggestions?

I think the pigtail is a little loose on the new ICP maybe should replace or?

Any help would be great,
