i guess so....... i mean it varies state to state in what they look for equipment wise (if you have a cat or egr missing or check engine light). but yea all it looks for is particulates.

AND I ALSO FOUND THE RIGHT TURBO FOR THIS VGT IDEA!!!! comes with its own controller and everything! right now the turbo's only used on cummins and nobody has a kit for a 7.3, so im gonna try to fab something up.

You talking about the vg351 or whatever? Or is that from the powerstrokes Either way, thats the commonly used turbo for this sort of fab job.

 

the switchblade sounds about right! i saw it in another thread on here somewhere, ill try to find it! but yea its got its own controller! so that eliminates the whole reprogramming my ecm headache
