Hi everybody I have a 1996 f250 which was originally a gasser. The truck was converted to a 7.3l. I just ordered a ts 6 pos chip and attempted to locate the pcm. The pcm was not installed near the e-brake. Can anybody help me locate my pcm. Thanks!

 

Well it could be hundreds of places. No one can help you since it is a converted pickup. Your just going to have to find it.

 

Yeah I understand but I was wondering if I could find some wires that would ultimately end up at my pcm

 

Start tracing wires. Most will end up at the pcm. And they put in a 7.3 power stroke and not a 7.3 idi right?

 

Yeah Its the power stroke. Do you know which wires I would wanna trace?

 

Try the ones that go to the under valve cover gaskets
