Double clutching basics ...

5th to 4th ... go from 5th to N rev up with clutch released then push in clutch and select 4th .... keep doing this till you have reached 2nd ... at about 10 or so 1st will be do able ...

I have a 4 spd and I love D-clutching that bas ***... and I have massive pipes and Huge air cleaner ... so .... ITS LOUD AS ALL GET OUT !!!!!! ..

And just in case, while up shifting clutch in, neutral, then release clutch pedal briefly, clutch back in and shift to next gear, and so on all the way up. Once you get it down it'll be a pump of the clutch pedal to make the shift. I've even gotten it down while down shifting and pushing the brake I'll tap the throttle with the side of my brake foot.

I've been curious, since these motors were in bigger trucks too, does anyone make a true Jacobs break for these motors? Not just an exhaust brake.

No .. they only have exhaust breaks ... due to the valve/rocker combo on a common type of shaft .. don't think you could manage a true JAKE brake set-up ..

OK international ..... your throw-out bearing sounds like junk .... listening to video .... that is NOT a normal sound my friend ... ..

Your gonna need to pull it and get a new throw out bearing at least ... the DM flywheel doesn't make that type of noise ... it will make a rattling noise and your engine while running will vibrate excessively @ idle ... had to replace a few of thee things .. D-max's and fords ... they ALL SUCK !!!
