I looked up part number K1989-1SK, and under the listing is says it does not come with the flywheel? If we can figure it all out then I know what my next project shall be

You're a life and wallet saver, was just confused as to why the picture shows the flywheel and it's called a conversion kit if it didn't come with the flywheel you know haha

Ok, I went to work and got some screen shots of what we see on our computers. The K1989-1SK kit does come with a flywheel. What's weird is that the description says it has the flywheel, as does the picture and even the installation instructions, it's just one little part in the attribute list that says it doesn't. By all accounts and purposes, it had better come with a flywheel, if it shows up without one I would raise hell as the picture clearly shows you are getting a flywheel with your purchase.

Here is a list of the clutch kits we have. the price on the right is what you pay, the price on the left is the manufacturers suggested list price.

If you already had a solid flywheel you would get the clutch kit for $259.99, the solid flywheel not shown is $129.99, so you save about $60 by getting the kit instead of the separate parts. Keep in mind that this conversion kit is a non stocking item for most stores, I work at a larger hub store and we don't even carry it. It may be subject to a small freight charge, like $7-8 unless they have it in stock at the distribution center and it should be available overnight with no freight charge. In most cases, if no freight charge applies you can order the part before paying to see if it is correct.

The $729 kit is for dual mass, it has a new dual mass flywheel and clutch. Kind of crazy considering a new dual mass flywheel by itself is $1089. They have come down in price though, just over a year ago when I was getting ready to do my conversion the DMF's were running just under $1300.

Whats even more surprising than the picture is in the details it says flywheel is included, so once the money comes my way I'll go ahead and order it, and most definitely will be raising all sorts of hell if the flywheel doesn't come with

I'm pretty sure when I replaced mine a little over a year ago, I paid around the $250 without a flywheel, because mine looked good. I was thinking it was worn because of peddle play, but when I tore it off the flywheel looked good and I replaced it because I was there. Turns out I have linkage problems, but I think the $350 range is what they quoted me with the flywheel. All this was at my local O'reillys in fair oaks California which did have it the next day.

Not to bad, I might just wait until I get everything for the upgrades I want to do, when I swap out the flywheels since the motor has to be pulled so I can seal my oil pan
