I might go that route on the next set. I got some replacement Batteries from Can Tire in a pinch and they are junk. After 1 year I have replaced 1 (warranty) and the other is already poor. Who cares about 9 year warranty when you are in the middle of nowhere! And they don't like to power the Espar for very long.

 

You might want to look at the Yellow Tops J...I was talking to Optima and they recommended the yellows over the reds (for the Espar anyway). But, I had already bought the Reds - Costco was the cheapest I could find.

Been using a blue top in my RV. Been a killer battery compared to the "regular" deep-cycle batteries I've used in the past. Keeps it's charge MUCH longer. Highly recommended!

Have a red and yellow top in my Jeep, red top is almost 10 years old. The yellow top is 4 years old, used for winching. Red top has been drained to nothing several times, accepts charges. Will buy another Optima for wives blazer
