My boost leak. Is there suppose to be something in this hole? I stuck a piece of wire down it and it went about a 1/2!

I don't think that is it. I have the same hole and I don't have a boost leak

Just follow the directions in this post and find your leak within minutes. https://www.dieselbombers.com/cummin...tructions.html

Your hose size may be different so you would need the right size pipe to fit but other then that it all works the same.

I had a retaining bolt on the fuel lines loose after having the Vp44 replaced. It didn't affect how it ran, but I could hear the pressure leaking down after shutdown. Follow the guide above. That should help you locate the cause.
