Default 97 to 99 powerstroke

Here's the set up. I've got a 1986 f250 sitting on 38inch semi tires and rims with a reinforced frame and f650 axles. I'm dropping a 97 powerstroke in it with a garret 1.1 a/r turbo. Custom downpipe and 8 inch stacks. Going with stage 2 injectors and propane injection along with a pse cold air intake and an electric fuel pump. With this set up, I have two questiOns. 1. Do I need an hpop? If so could I get away with a terminator t500? Or do I need more? Question 2, would it be possible to wire up a 99 computer? I've noticed quite a few of the custom tune places don't offer some tunes for a 97 that I really want. I'm basically building a Sunday driver and trying to squeeze as much power as I can out of it on a fairly reserved budget so any additional input would be great

Thanks

If it was me I would upgrade the hpop but it is not required. It takes alot of rewiring to swap the computers, I wouldn't waste the time. Who doesn't offer tuning for it?

Leave the computer alone and forget about the propane injection......

Yes on the HPOP... A 17* or better will do the trick...
