does anyone have any info on converting from the chrysler automatic trans behind the 5.9 diesel engine to an allison automatic.

 

why would you want to do that, if you have the money an dodge tranny can be beefed up stronger than an allison

 

this is true also my buddie tried putting a manual in his automatic until he went to dodge and they told him he has to do some wiring all the way back through the tail lights??? i found this odd but i do know you yould be better off just getting a built dodge trans... and the allison is great and all but tthe dam learning tranny aspect sucks when you wanna race it!
