Default 1999 F250 7.3 PS Will not run more than a minute or two before dieing.

First of all I'd like to say hello to everybody! I have a 1999 F250 7.3L PS Diesel crew cab short bed with 255K on it. This is my first diesel and has given me no trouble until now. The engine takes longer to start than it ever has before, but will eventually crank right up. However after running for a minute or two at the most it will die and will not restart. The only thing I have replaced are the batteries which tested bad and the fuel filter. I have no idea where to start. The engine once started, runs and sounds like normal. It just will not stay running. The truck is completely stock as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I have checked a few things I read on prior posts. The tachometer does not move while cranking the engine. There is fuel getting to the fuel bowl. I have drained it several times and then tried to crank the engine. It still doesn't start but the fuel bowl is refilling everytime. So I have no idea what this means but I'm sure there are some knowledgeable people on here who can point me in the right direction.

Thanks!

When was the last time you changed the oil and is the oil level good. Those 7.3's i believe use oil to hydrualicly fire the injectors if the oil level is not full or the oil life is low then they cannot fire properly
