Weak powerstroke!!!
Hey guess i posted this about a week or so ago in the 99-03 ford powerstroke section but didnt get much reply. Thanks to the guys that did tho I appreciate it! Heres my problem, my buddy has a 99 ford f250 powerstroke, the engine has been replaced with a 2001 model and its WEAK! Its slugish and it just doesnt want to get up and go! It will get up to speed...ok..but not like it should at all. The turbo seems to spool ok and i cant find any split turbo boots. I dont know what else to check and im hoping someone can help me! I checked all the fluids and they are all good and so is the fuel filter. The cam sensor has not been replaced but its been runin like this for about 2 years and it hasnt acted like a cam sensor screw up. Could the icp sensor make it slugish and weak? Also when i crank the truck when its cold it lopes and will clear up after about 5 seconds. but the check engine light stays on for about 3 or 4 min. then the engine will ramp up to about 1300 rpm then fall back down to ideal and the check engine light will go out and it will not give me any codes! This truck is driving me crazy!!!!! 
Yea sorry i haven't found anything on the truck yet...my buddy came and picked it up yesterday. Anyway i told him to put a 2001 year modle computer in it and see if anything clears up...the tranmission is not working right either so im sure that doesnt help with the way the truck pulls. If i find anything out ill be sure to let yall know! THANKS GUYS
