im gonna look into that icp sensor. thats the only update really ? last night i left it on the block heater thinking maybe it would be glow plugs/relay problem but i got today jumped her and it still wouldnt start. so that made my day, then i sanded my subwoofer box a bit to get it ready for paint . lotsa projects but no money? funny how they get mixed in with each other to often

icp= injector control pressure ( sensor ) it tells the computer what the injector pressure is. normally 300-500psi at idle. up to around 3000 to 3500psi full load. if this sensor fails you may have no starts or running problems.
the color of you diesel may not be a problem. there is blue diesel out there. its mainly seen for use in heavy industrial equipment and marine equip. alot of the normal on road diesel can look green, yellow, orange or even clear.

It reads it when it's cranking. It needs about 500psi to start. If it doesn't it means your sensor that reads it is bad or you have a problem with your high pressure oil pump is not building pressure for one of several reasons. If you do take it to a shop let us know what they find.
