Welcome to Diesel Bombers!

You should start your own thread and be more in depth as to the problem.

OK I went to Fonda, Iowa on Saturday with some friends from another site and they helped me put all the new stuff on. They also set the valve clearance for me.

The test drive went good. I left it outside last night and this morning it started fast! It only got down to 10 here last night but that’s far colder then it would start at before!!

We did find a few leaks so I ordered a water pump and timing cover gasket kit to try and fix them. Also I think I'm going to put a throttle position sensor on it.

One of the guys that was there guessed it at just over 400hp the way I have it set up. For the most part I'm very happy with the truck at this point!

Thanks everyone for all the input I really appreciate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is the advantage or need for doing this?

Should the problem reappear, can reopen this thread or you can start a new one.
