Thanks for the Imput but I don't think this is a Prime problem.

I have been fighting this for about 4 months and have put about a thousand miles on it.

I think its the injector pump or maybe injectors.

Can the Pumps be rebuilt? or is there a cheap replacment?

 

Sorry I missed that part. My injection pump started to go when I first bought my truck, i would lose power while driving meaning i would put the pedal to the floor and it would only go 10mph. I just bought the pump new from Throughbread Diesel along with a new Lift pump. I dont know whether then can be rebuilt or not.

 

Whats The Current Status Of this Situation?

 

Well right now I'm tring to decide on injectors and a pump.

Which ones, New or used, Stock or after market.

 

Depends on how much power you want. VP's and injectors, I don't think you can get them brand new anymore. I'd stick with stock stuff!!

Just ordered a new Injector pump and a set of +100HP injectors. They should be here Thursday or Friday. I'll let you know.

I can't decide of I should get a Airdog Lift pump to go along with them.

 

Be sure to let us know if the IP fixes this. Tough to even suggest things without seeing it.

What are you running for a LP now?

 

I have one that I got from O'rilleys last year. it seems to work OK (mostly running in the 12 to 15lb range)
But if I set my chip on the high setting and really get on it hard I can drag it down to 2 or 3lbs.

 

OK all parts are ordered now.

I have a SO pump, 100+ HP Injectors and an Airdog 150 LP on its way.

They should be here Tuesday or Wednesday.

I'll let you know how it goes.
