Don't worry about it... You don't need to change your HPOP oil... It's the very same oil that is in your crankcase. Change your oil regularly and everytime you start/drive the truck, new oil is cycled through the HPOP...

It seems that the circulation of the low to the upper end oil is very poor and the upper reservoir holds 3 qt. Due to this poor circulation POWERSTROKEHELP.COM - The Information Source for Ford Power Stroke Diesel Owners & Mechanics and Home of EDAS® "Engine Damage Avoidance System" for Powerstroke Diesel Trucks recommends changing it to give the injectors new life. Look up his videos and see what you think. I'm new to diesels and just want to keep my 7.3 running good.

I've seen his videos. They are crap... If your truck is running, the oil is being transferred from the crankcase to the lowpressure oil pump to the high pressure oil pump to the injectors and back into the crank case... You want to change your HPOP oil? Step 1. start truck. Step 2. step on the accelerator. Step 3. Enjoy a beer knowing you just did what powerstrokehelp.com told you couldn't be done without popping open the hood and sucking out the oil...
The oil system is all inclusive. The oil in the HPOP is exactly the same oil in the crankcase.
