alright so i test drove a 2001 with the lb7 and it didn't feel like it had any get up and go. is it just because it's stock or what? and if i plan on getting a performance upgrade once i purchase the truck. and right now i am thinkin about gettin that PPE programmer. but i dont want to if it is going to brake my transmission or anything else for that matter...

(and i know they are for haulin stuff so they aren't supposed to be get up and go trucks. but i figured they'd be a little faster than that....)

I helped a neighbor with his 02 it ran decent but he didn't like the towing power it had so he said get me a setup with gauges built in.. so edge juice with attitude went in. on stock setting driving his truck up a hill empty not towing anything I could hit 1450 on the pyro no problem so we added 4" turbo back system and it helped a little then added the aem cold air and now it runs 1100 all day long up the same hill and has plenty of towing power. He drives it all the time on level 3 been over a year an no issues. I like the juice with the monitor because it takes care of the gauges too and it's easy to install.

I love EFI Live but the Edge is a good choice for a beginner.

We run level 3 on our 02 all day everyday emoty or grossing at 45-48,000lbs.

No issues except it lost communicaion and had to be replaced.
