coopmax, hom much horse you pttin out with just the six gun? and what are you puttin out with efi and the six-gun? my dad is lookin at the six-gun and is just waitin for the income for it.

well I will tell you what I wont buy again if that helps any? I would not buy the hypertech again. It is great for day to day driving but does not have the aggressive edge that I crave. Thats just my opinon.

I spent quite a bit of time today testing and tuning an LBZ for a pull tonite. I got so picky with the tune i started changing individual cells. By the time i was done i had 20 different versions of that tune. But man did it run good.

So the Hypertech is good for an everyday driver and not drag racing? I have an Edge with Juice but it doesn;t seem to be working as well or at all. Found a slightly frayed wire and was going to try and send it back. Does The Hypertechs power tune equal the Edge at level 4?
EFI live do they offer it in a handheld tuner or do I need a laptop and the software?

you can get a handheld from a EFI live tuner/ distributor.
they can supply five tunes on the efi live handheld and from there you can flash in he tune u want. u dont do the tuning. but you will need a computer the software can be downloaded free from efi's website

Yeah smoke is some what un neccesarry but really ..... no smoke no grunt..... my n/a 7.3 does great 20 mpg no matter what i do and never replace a dang thing...... and if i wanna turn it up alll i have to do is remove 2 screws and turn it up ..... how much smoke ya wanna make is up to u ...... but i love the d max too..... wish they were cheeper to buy i would swap in a hurry
