6.2l question about breather hoses

Default 6.2l question about breather hoses

there are two hoses that go into my intake one on each side that comefrom a hose on the fill tube can i just plug of them and get rid of them so it dont suck the oil into the intake casue it was coated on the inside when i took it off

I wouldnt oil will just find another way out could cause bigger problems. need to find out y u getn blowby.

Yeah, I wouldn't go messing around with those hoses. They provide a small amount of vacuum to the crankcase to limit oil leaks. If you have a bunch of oily slime you'll need to either replace or clean your CDR valve (tuna can on the front pass side of motor). To clean it, just take it off and wash it out with either diesel fuel or gasoline, then let it dry. Repeat the process a few times til the "solvent" comes out clean. If the diaphragm inside is bad, you'll need a new one. If so, let me know and I'll find a part number and maybe a CDR in your area.
