Yeah that's how I thought about it. But, I've also thought about buying a 5 speed donor truck so I don't have to worry about automatic trans issues! Just a headache. But I would love it fixed.

NV 4500 is the only way to go and do the single mass flywheel if not already done.

I agree, been looking for a 93-94 donor truck but cant find one. That snorkel will come off with my new intake and CDR valve delete.

Update guys, I got a new computer (the one behind the glovebox) traced the speed sensor wires for brakes. They tested good. Re-wired the trans with new internal & external harness from. (updated parts from electrical advantage) EPC Solenoid, Shift Solenoid A & B, TCC Lock up, and Manifold pressure switch. They call it a master solenoid kit with updated wiring. I have my speedometer full time now, it doesn't loose signal at any time, it doesnt jump around anymore, the truck isnt starting in 2ed anymore. BUT, I still loose TC lockup and O/D after a few minutes. Only code I have now is code 68 vs the 5-7 codes I had before. What you guys think? Time for a trans?
