"The" 2 Stroke Oil Thread
Been using it in my truck for several months now...Truck loves it is the short of it. Couldn't be running better when warmed up.
I'm up to 70K miles (4 years) of 2 cycle oil in my 2002 Dodge fuel mileage is up to 21-22 on average and topped out at 25.3 MPG's. My Vp44 has 108K miles and still going strong.
So as for 2 cycle oil be a cause of problems highly doubtful...

I have just got a 6.5l td and am thinking of running the 2 stroke over the acertane booster that I have put in the first tank. I have not read this entire thread yet, but am curious if I should run the 2 stroke instead of the other stuff or run them together. And does it help on the older model engines? I have noticed a lot of cummins engines talking on this thread, but none on the chevy's. I am wondering if I added both would I get the benefits of the lubrication and the anti-gel, etc., stuff from the commercial brands if I ran them together. But what would the mixture rate of each be then? Stupid questions from a new diesel owner. Sorry for my ignorance, but I have to ask before I add. Thanks.
