Still going strong. The new TCM flash they installed holds 4th and 5th gear longer too. Much more drive-able no longer ending up in 5th gear with converter locked at 35 mph.

wow quite a thread guys...... all I have to say is you guys have lots of patience ! as far as the stealerships go..... sounds like the mid-west ones provide a much more personal touch than all the DFI's down here.. (SW Fla.)

Well guys the 4th transmission lasted just shy of 4 months 2600 miles and it died. Smoked 5th and 6th overdrive again goes right into limp mode. ATS said that the compatibly issue was fixed with the updated TCM that's why it lasted so much longer than the others but they still have a problem with a few trucks like mine and they think they got it fixed with yet another CoPilot update. They said the computer in the truck not sure witch one but it learns so over time and it keeps lowering the clutch pack pressures cause it sees the hard shifts and after time the pressure is to low to hold the horse power. This fix is supposed to to that lowering of pressure. They are sending another transmission and CoPilot in a week or so. As I have been will keep you updated.

P.S Sugarbear1 hows yours doing did they updated your TCM?

They didn't update my tcm. They sent me the latest co-pilot. I was told it would flash the tcm when I plugged it in. So far I have put 1500 miles on it in the week I have had it. I have yet to tow with it and that's when I had problems before. It says dodge light on the copilot they sent me. Let me know if yours is the same.

So you have been running strong for months even with the other CoPilot and you just got an updated one? I don't know about the CoPilot changing the TCM did your shift points change? When they did my TCM it changed 4th and 5th shift points holds 4th till 45 mpg and 5th till I think 60. Works good for my truck with 250 hp injectors keeps turbo spooled up better I don't blow smoke as much when driving normal. The CoPilot I have now says Dodge Light on it. They did say they are only having problems with a few trucks now I must be one of the lucky ones. Glad yours is still working this will make ATS transmission # 5 for me really getting old.

Yea they could, and should of just gave you a new one. Are they different now a year later? What improvements if any have they made? Mine is still going strong been a year now not sure how many miles I have on the last transmission and co pilot would have to look that up at home. I'm at work. Truck has just over 50,000 miles on it I only do about 12,000 a year so some where around there. I'm so glad I haven't had to change a trans in a year.

After having ken at wild diesel give them a call they are sending me a new co-pilot free of charge. the new co-pilot controls line pressure and you can change when it locks up.
Austin the ats tranny is great i have put it thru hell. jacked up and i were having problem with the origanal co-pilot working with our ecu flashes thats what was messing the built trans up. it seems to me ats has gotten everything figured out hopefully. im just glad ats has the warrenty that they offer.

Just an update the 5th transmission lasted just over a year then lost 5th again. This time they told me I must reflash the TCM with Dodges latest flash the guy who altered my TCM last time is no longer there and they had problems with trucks that he had altered the TCM. So I did as told. Trans number 6 lasted almost a month then number 7 four days. Mind you most of these 7 transmission broke under moderate acceleration not WOT. 2 - 4 weeks turn around everytime I needed a new one. Truck was broke more than it ran. I'm now doing a swap and putting in a competition all billet SunCoast 47re. Wish me luck.
