Sounds like bull to me took the truck to dodge dealer and they said the trans line pressure sensor is bad which caused low pressure in the trans which smoked the clutch packs. Now the engineers at ATS want to talk with the tech at my Dodge dealer so round and round we go. Will see what happens.
Not sure what all your dealer did or what they checked, but if you know how to work a star scan you can find out alot of info. Anytime a fault code is thrown in the tcm it will log all the data at the time of the fault, so you can see how much the line pressure really was if it did slip the clutch packs and burn them up. Just because the fault was set doesnt mean that the sensor is bad, there is a list of tests and procedures that need to be done if they think the sensor is bad, to determine if it is bad or not. And from my understanding if the sensor was bad, so it was running lower line pressure then the tcm wouldnt have let it shift up in the higher gears and it would have put the truck in limp mode. But I do understand your frustration, it doesnt matter what the part is on a truck if its aftermarket and keeps failing it pisses you off, the main thing is seeing what ats will do to fix the issue for you, hopefully they can work something out with you or refund your money back on the tranny. good luck and I hope everything works out good.

The only place in my town that has any scanner that will work with my truck is Dodge I hate this town. Dodge didn't seem to really know what they were doing or just didn't want to be bothered after hearing about all the after market stuff not sure which. I had extra sensors because the last transmission I sent back before I got the replacement and was not sure if it would come with sensors. I made the mistake of clearing the codes once in playing with it my self before taking it to dodge and the u1403 code never came back up Dodge said it had nothing to do with the tran though ATS was not so sure. The truck shutters in reverse and takes 30-45 seconds to go into gear after putting it in drive then only shifts first and second. Dodge had read low line pressure on the scanner so he unplugged the sensor near the tail shaft on the passenger side of trans. the pressure came up then when you drive it she will shift threw all the gears but slips into the next gear or slips in between shifts and you can't give it more then a hair of throttle like 1200 rpm or so any more and it falls out of gear into neutral then goes to second and stays there till you shut of the truck and start over limp mode your talking about i assume. So I change the sensor with another one and it does the same thing only to second gear with plugged in and unplugged all gears. So its not the sensor seems if you unplug it it just takes it out of the limp mode. Dodge said there there were no codes to indicate problems in the tcm ecm or pcm so I don't no if the problem is just something that failed in the tran? Truck was fine when I parked it then had the problem when I started it and put in reverse no horse play no running it hard just stopped working. I really don't no what to do I don't care what failed or who's fault it is I just want to fix it.

Update ATS sent me another tranny put it in yesterday. Truck works again shifts good no codes. Will have to wait and see if this one will last. Going to drive it real easy for now. ATS said they will take apart the one I'm sending them back and let me know what went wrong with it. Looking forward to knowing what happened to it. I'll keep you posted.

Well made it 12 days babying it. Transmission is doing the same thing the last one did. Drove home from work about ten miles stopped at the gas station for smokes. When I backed out of the spot I knew there was a problem shuttered in reverse then took 30 sec. or more to go in to drive after putting it in gear. Took off and it was slipping then went from 2nd to 4th and stayed there. Called ATS they said they have had a bad batch of solenoid packs they would send me a new valve body to install they think that's the problem guess that's where the solenoids are. Part should be here Friday I'll let you know. If they can't fix it with out me removing the tran I will not put a 4th one in. I wan't my money back to try a Suncoast.

Well new part seem to fix it but it broke again Tuesday. Now they think its the flash I have on my TCM and it's not compatible with the Co Pilot. I'm sending my TCM to them for them to put a flash they are using on there personal trucks. Then sending it back with another new transmission. Round four, will see what happens.

D@mn man, Ill bet you have the exact same flash as me the aq flash. this is the exact thing that happened to me. only they didnt let me send my tcm even tho i tried to tell them to do thier flash so I didnt have to deal with a down truck. instead they sent me a co-pilot that only controls line pressure till they figure out the flaws in the co-pilot. My truck runs flawlass now. I was Dealing with Mike Mynagie, I think Thats how you spell his last name. Hopefully this works for you. do you have the updated co-pilot?

Just an update been 4 weeks and no problems I think the flashing of the TCM fixed the problem. Still got my fingers crossed but this is the longest it has worked yet.
