I've heard of connectivity issues with the TSX, though, it may be resolved now. I'd stick with the livewire myself. Or if you have an Itouch, Ipad, or something of the sort, you can get the I-TSX now, and tune through your apple device.

 

Well guys after some long hard though and lots of research... I think im going to go with the SCT livewire and custom tunes from Innovative Diesel.... Thanks for all the help

Now which tunes do I want is the question.....I was thinking Street, Extreme Street, and Eco.... I dont really see a need for the tow tune since the street tune is capable of towing up to 10k lbs I dont see myself ever towing anything heavier than that.

 

I wouldn't waste my money on the ECO, it's a joke. About as slow as stock and I didn't notice any increase in mileage. The higher horsepower programs offer the best mileage, IF you can keep your foot out of it.

If I did it again, I'd go street, aggressive tow, extreme street. I've got all these currently as well as extreme race, and eco. I never used eco again...

 

Which tune were you getting the best milage with? What were you getting roughly MPG wise?

 

where did you find the sct with tunes from innovative diesel? those sound what i'm looking for. i've been looking around for a few days now off and on.

 

You can buy the SCT from innovative or anywhere you like then call Eric down at innovative and he will help you figure out what tunes will work best for your setup and then once they are paid for he will email you the tunes and you just upload them to the tuner then flash the truck.

 

i found the sct livewire offered from mkm customs for 535 including a window mount kit and the egt probe. so far seems to be the best deal on them is mkm customs a trusted name?
