My warranty has cost me more headaches in the long run, than if I had just fixed it myself. This is also part of where the bad rep comes from on the 6.0. Everyone thinks major problems and very expensive repairs, when in reality it's more like incompetent technicians (no offense to those who actually know what they're doing), and dealerships throwing parts at trucks. Of course repairs are expensive if you don't know how to diagnose and are just burning through a customers money tossing parts at it... I will say it takes a special breed to learn to wrench on a 6.0, but once you know the in's and out's they're really a good motor.

Most of my dealer repairs were repeat repairs too, meaning they never got it right the first time they tried. I've been a much happier person since my warranty ran out.
