Respectfully, your experience in this matter is irrelevant as we are talking about Cummins 1st generation injectors. 1st gen injectors run at a substantially lower pop pressure as compared to '94 and up engines.

A very different beast.

Let's keep on the subject of 1st gen injectors folks.

Head dont take it personally as you dont knwo weston, he is a smart *** and knows his stuff.

The reason for taking as long as it has is he runs a shop, has many projects going on and injector results dont pop up overnight, his work is exceptional and worth the wait.

O what do you know? Just kiddin. Im just jealous. You made a hundred more horses then me at 4000 rpm's then I did at max power. Very cool.

I would like to see somebody run a big set of 5 hole sticks. My stock 4 x 12's run 300 through a stock auto so I bet a big set of 5 hole would be pretty good. Not sure if they would compete with the big 6'ers

FWIW, I was talking to member GLHS on DTR about his setup a month ago or so. I was looking to send my DDP's back to be made a little bigger (btw, they won't do that). He had a custom set of DDP injectors that he ran for quite awhile. He upgraded to 6 x 16's later, but he told me he ran his best 1/4 mile time with the DDP 5 hole injectors. That tells me 5 hole injectors can be competitive.

...and I was never being a dick about anything. My first post was very neutral. I was just making a statement.

I dont think he has made any injectors for any one making big power yet.

And GHLS is only making around 450HP, which for a 1st gen is great power, but we are talking big power here. 500+, that has not been done with a 5-hole injector yet. Been donee a few times with 6 holers though.

After doing some checking last night, looks like there is a bunch of misinformation on hole size on the 1st Gen injectors. Big power VE injectors, I could build somthing for someone, but I don't have time to chase someone down, I have a guy locally with a VE pulling truck that will go to a 5-hole next year from the 6/16's he has now.

How much power is he making with his pulling truck weston? I hope you nail this one... We need something to carry VE's to teh next level (700hp and forward)
