Another Pyro Question
#11
This is a picture of MY truck, I monitor both front and back, and the BACK is ALWAYS hotter. Some times they are within 20* or so, but 95% of the time the back is 50* or more hotter, I have seen almost a 150* difference between 5 & 6 and 1-4. I have had both monitors for 9+ months and the temp is always very consistant that 5 & 6 are hotter.
The reason for this is the way the CR head flows coolant. If you have a coolant bypass kit they will all be very close to the same, if not then the back two will be hotter.
When I drilled my back pyro I did not take out the fender well and used a right angle drill with short drill bit, it would not fit straight, that why it is crooked. Now we take out the fender well and can get it straight every time with a regular drill and bit.
I hope this helps

Strange that on the photo of their alternate pyro location it says that cylinder 1-3 will read hotter.
