That's correct, just ground the wire after plugging the pin in the #22 socket. So far the Superchips and Smarty will enable the high idle. I'm not sure about the Diablo or the Bully Dog though. Dealer can also do it if they know where to look.

 

Yeah I figure I will just get the Diesel Tech guy about half an hour away to enable it. He tried and tried to do it for me the last time I was there which was about a year ago. Depends if I really want to have it bad enough to unplug the computer. Last time we didn't know that only autos could get it without doing anything to em. He hadn't heard of the site I saw it on so I showed him on the dealer's computer. Haha. I wish I could just buy the fancy machine he was playin on my truck with.

 

You can...for about $7k. I wanted one until my heart palpitated from the numbers on the sticker.

 

I think I will just become a friend of the tech up the road . That way its free and his fault if he screws it up.
