I havent done the swap yet. I still have to get rid of my other stuff. Thats the mpgs i get now. I like my DDPs. They are only 50hp but they barely smoked at all. Unless i turn the edge all the way up, smoke stays at a minimum

Ok its been awhile. Got my 6.7 manifold and turbo bolted in for a mock up. Have everything pretty much figured out for the oil lines and coolant lines but what did everyone do for the air intake and intercooler boot? Since im runnint the 3rd gen manifold the turbo is sitting too far back to run the stock location intake or intercooler boot. Should i use a 6.7 intercooler boot or just get a silicone hose the length i need? Should i get a 6.7 intake and move the battery or is there a way i can leave the airbox where its at and use a longer intake tube?

i made my own intercooler boot out of some mandrel bent tubing. as for the intake you could just lengthen the stock one with some pipe and another coupler.

How well did all that work? How did you run your oil drain line? i was going to take out that back freeze plug and just move the line to there.

i used the hx35 return but had to cut a piece out and use some silicone oil hose for it. never had a problem. the tube i built looked factory and only had to buy one boot other than stock to go on the outlet to the turbo needed to be reduced a little.

i made my intercooler charge pipe from mandrel bent tube. 2 3" 45* bends welded together, plus a 2-3/4" to 3" 45* silicone coupler hooked right up the stock coupler on the intercooler.

i picked up an 04 turbo drain but had to modify it by cutting it apart and welding it in the right location. but i used a different block fitting tho.

Here is the progress so far. I think i need to clock the turbo just a little so my oil inlet is straight up and down. Have to rebend that ac line that the electronics are hitting right now.
